We went on filed trip down to the Hours Shoe Tavern. The school bus stopped so the kids could stretch their legs.

I had the honor I seeing the opening of Sleep Tight. It is an art exhibit on sleep across cultures and history. It includes the work of many students for the fine art program as well as peace form the Museum and Gallery Studies Program. The show is curated by the Museum and Gallery Studies Students as well. I was not in the show just to clarify. I suggest you check out the show and see the interpretations of the subject matter. You can see it at Georgian Colleges Barrie Campus Gallery in D building.
The dark of the hospital like presence in my mind is always in m shadow.
The amber ashes are in all our in the heart even when the light is dim.
The room we look in on is the hearth we see.
Water may be the symbol of life, however, at the cost of what waste?
We all need to remember to build light, even when all you or anyone else knows is darkness.
Look at what you have built for us. It is still in the background.
We will never escape nihilism with knowing in form.

You can not see perfection, you, however, invasion it.

Last summer I shot my first big concert at the Mavricks Music Hall where I shot Sebastian Bach.
I showed the images in the Color of Fire, Heart of Music print show at Ontario Shores Center for Mental Health Science.
Downstairs in the green room at Donaleighs, the act of creativity was plenty even if in much to short supply in the world.
2018 marked 100 years after the end of world war one. As a young man in my 20s, I can only imagine the whole world at war. It is only an idea and one with no context. I try to put this idea into something more than the abstract, and it is hard to imagine.
Multi-Tech Audio Visual sponsored Ontario Music Cooperative Inc. We used their storage-depot to jam before the concert. We used their lighting and sound for equipment, as their stage production. I would recommend MTAV. (Photo of David Fyffe)

Backstage is like an office. You go there to do your job, not to party. No that does not mean you cannot have fun. Good art comes from to play and daydreaming. Good work comes to form a team that can try new thing and takes chances. However like any group you need to stay on track. We are all there to do a job. That job might include creativity.
People think being in the green room as a photographer is about something it is not. You are there to be quiet. Photography does do not make a sound. The green room is a spiritual place where people do not have to worry about the public judging. It is a place where people make art. Being with the artist behind closed doors is not about partying or be famous; being the photographer is all about interpreting the dialogue between artist, art, and the self-expression it implies. We will never truly leave our minds. Growth is the closest we come. Looking forward we see more than the present; we see the see the art behind the walls ahead.
At the Art Gallery of Ontario, There is a room with a floor that ideas can be built on, and that art can be displayed on. The wall to keep out the darkness is on the outside of the gallery. It is on the outside of free thought.
